• What is Brave Kitchen? +

  Brave Kitchen makes a fresh, gently cooked whole food topper for dogs — made by hand in small batches using real proteins and vegetables. Every recipe is developed with veterinary nutrition guidance.

• What do you offer? +

  We're launching with one recipe: The Brave Blend Topper. It's a higher-protein, higher-fiber, lower-carbohydrate topper built around lean proteins and fibrous vegetables — the recipe we first developed for Stella, and what both of our dogs eat every day. If your dog has a health condition, we always recommend checking with your vet about the right fit.

• How is this different from other fresh dog food brands? +

  We're not a factory. We're a real kitchen making real food in small batches. No extrusion, no high-pressure processing, no ingredients you can't pronounce. We use precision sous vide cooking to gently cook every ingredient at the perfect temperature, preserving nutrients and flavor without industrial processing. It's not ground into a smooth paste — it's whole pieces you can see, cooked gently in small batches. It looks like a home-cooked meal because that's exactly what it is.

• How is the food cooked? +

  Every Brave Kitchen topper is precision sous vide cooked — a gentle, low-temperature method that preserves nutrients, locks in flavor, and never subjects ingredients to the high heat of traditional processing.

• Can I feed only your food? +

  Our topper is formulated as a complementary food — designed to be fed alongside your dog’s existing diet, not as a sole food source. That said, we know some owners want more than a topper, and we support that. Both of our dogs — Stella and Betty — eat our food exclusively. But that means our food plus a separate vitamin blend, and regular vet monitoring to keep everything in check. Whole food isn’t just for sick dogs. Betty is proof of that. • How does it work? +

  Simple. Add a scoop on top of your dog's existing food, or serve alongside as a complement to their diet. Meals come frozen. Thaw in the refrigerator for 24 hours before serving. We recommend 30 seconds in the microwave to warm it up — most dogs go absolutely wild for it.

• How long does it keep? +

  Frozen: Up to 3 months. Once thawed: Up to 3 days in the refrigerator. Do not refreeze after thawing.

• How do I get on the waitlist? +

  We’ll be taking on new customers in limited waves right here in Nashville once we launch. Get on the waitlist via this form we’ll reach out when we’re ready for you.

• Where do you deliver? +

• Is this right for my dog with a health condition? +
